Quaker Steak & Lube

Despite the varied reviews, this place was okay.I had been to a Quaker Steak & Lube before, in Sandusky, OH, but we don't have any in the Detroit area. My boyfriend was interested in doing the wings challenge, and we also wanted somewhere near the Titanic museum to eat, so we ended up here this past Saturday.I ordered the combo ($13.99) of 5 wings and pretzel sticks with beer cheese. I ordered boneless wings but they accidentally brought me bone-in, so they rectified it and brought me 5 boneless wings later (and allowed me to keep the bone-in ones, too, which was nice). Service was a bit slow but my boyfriend's cousins said that it was actually the best service they've ever had there, which was funny. My boyfriend did complete the wings challenge (in like 3m30s too! Crazy ...) and his reward is that he got a T-shirt to commemorate it. Overall this isn't a bad pick - the food was pretty tasty - but it's really no different than any other chain restaurant, such as TGI Friday's, though the decor is fun.
